But most of all he enjoyed being with family and sharing his musical talents during family gatherings.

Hobbies he enjoyed were fishing, motorcycle riding, traveling, boating, enjoyed driving various styles of cars, car shows and maintaining his lawn.

He accepted the Lord at an early age and rededicated his life later and served him faithfully. He accepted his calling into the ministry and was an ordained elder. Before his illness, he was very active in his church and had been a Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Bible Study teacher, was a member of the choir, kitchen staff, as well as played the organ, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

He never missed an opportunity to witness or lead someone to Christ. He was a man of wisdom and knowledge and lived by example. He was a beloved husband, father and devoted family-oriented man who loved his children immensely, whom he imparted his wisdom and life experiences.
