Obituary for Billy Clark

Billy Clark was born October 16, 1957 in Albion, Michigan to Odie and Sammie (Bones) Clark. Billy was the fourth of six children. He spent his younger years in Tennessee with his grandparents. There he learned to be an avid fisherman and hunter. He also developed the love of basketball and baseball. He eventually moved back to Michigan in his late teens. It was then that he met the love of his life Ruth McIntosh, who later became his wife. They shared 46 years together.

Billy and Ruth traveled and lived in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri. While in St. Louis, he honed his skills at baseball and played several years for the St. Louis Browns. They eventually moved back to Michigan. Billy also had a love of music. He played the drums and was known in the music world as ‘Billy C’. He played with many local bands at various venues.

Outside of these interests and talents, Billy’s sincerest love was for his family. He liked having family get togethers, hosting cookouts, traveling to visit family wherever they were.
