Mark Anthony Brown II passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the age of 44. Mark was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and cousin. He touched everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him, and packed a big life into his time on earth. Mark wanted nothing more than to spend time with those he loved, whether it was hunting, fishing, telling stories around a bonfire or learning to be a girl-dad. With an intimidating appearance but the biggest heart imaginable, Mark was a friend, father-figure and favorite of everyone.
Mark was born in Battle Creek, MI, attended Battle Creek Central High School, and spent time around the country while working in environmental remediation. He was the first to help anyone who needed it, and would give you the shirt off his back or happily lend a hand with whatever anyone asked of him. Happiest out in nature, Mark loved nothing more than fishing off the side of a boat or tracking a giant buck on his uncle’s farm.
Mark is survived by his parents: Mark Anthony Brown and Peggy Brown; his wife: Misty Cooley Brown: one daughter: Breelyn Elizabeth Brown: one stepson: Kayden Blaine Decker; one brother: Matthew (Alison) Ray Brown; three sisters: Doris Jean (James) Brown, Roxanne Michelle Brown and Amanda Kay Brown. Mark also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family. He will be greatly missed by the countless people whose lives he touched.
