On May 7, 2021, Raymond Earl DeMott, age 92 of Bellevue, Michigan passed away at Home surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born October 17, 1928 in Bellevue, Michigan to Jacob and Francis (Roatch) DeMott. He worked at Post Cereal for 37 years before retiring in 1985. On June 14, 1952 he married Patricia Anne Rugg. They had four daughters; Connie (Rick) Call of Utah, Deb (Ron) Moon, Raye (Bill) Caltrider, and Jackie (John Lilly) Black, all of Michigan. Ray had numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In his younger years, Ray enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was fishing, turtle-trapping, hunting or just splitting wood. Ray enjoyed being outside. Right up until the end he was cheering on Great-grand kids, visiting Utah, playing a mean game of Euchre, all with a huge Dr. Bob smile on his face. Everyone who met Ray loved him. From the little's at the volleyball tournaments to all of his neighbors who he helped just because they needed it, and he could.
He was preceded in death by; his wife of 58 years, Patricia in 2011, and his parents.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
Cremation will take place at Oak Hill Crematory in Battle Creek, MI.
