Kenneth Paul Pendygraft Sr., age 82, of Battle Creek, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his Home. He was born August 12, 1938 in Battle Creek, the son of Raymond Sr. and Pearl (Nichols) Pendygraft.
Kenneth graduated from Battle Creek Central Highschool in 1956. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Linda Caswell. They spent over 60 wonderful years together. Kenneth worked for General Motors in Lansing, MI for over 50 years. He was an avid runner, sports car enthusiast, proud Lions Fan, and all-around sports fanatic. Kenneth enjoyed playing cards, reading the newspaper, watching old westerns and mob movies.
His family meant the world to him. Kenneth would never miss a sports event in regards to his children and grandchildren. He would always say: “Mean Mr. Pendygraft, meaner than a junk yard dog.”
Kenneth is survived by his children; Kenny Pendygraft Jr., Dennis Pendygraft, Jade Pendygraft, Jenny Bowers, Lynn Pendygraft, Dianna Pendygraft, Lauren Pendygraft, and Asa Pendygraft; 19 grandchildren; siblings, Raymond “Red” Pendygraft Jr. and William “Bill” Pendygraft; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his beloved pal, Jax.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents; son, Donald Pendygraft; and sister, June Rhodes.
A Visitation was held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM. With a private Burial that followed at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI.
