Jean Louise Clark, 95, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born November 2, 1925 in Detroit, the only child of Henry and Zella (Clark) Burton. Jean retired from the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of the Urbandale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jean enjoyed cooking, visiting all of her grandchildren, bowling, traveling, and entertaining. She had a quiet dynamic personality, loved animals, and was very kind and generous to all. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. She instilled in her children the need-to-know God and His son Jesus. "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need" Matthew 5:3.
She is survived by her children: Cynthia (Harold) Wafford, Linda Ogadinma, and Daniel “Craig” Smith; step-children: Sherry, Linda, Judy, Dionne, and Garrell; grandchildren: Stephanie, Tyson, Shannon, Dasharra, Dascia, David, Daniel, Devon; great grandchildren: Yasmin, Savannah, Jalen, Aaron, Cameron, Kyle, Cierra, Mekai, Alek’us, Autumn, Karmen, Chynna, Tywon, and Kilel; and so many others that called her "Grandma Jean"; special cousin, Ellen May Sweet; and a host of cousins.
