Connie Dale Aderman, 87, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020. He was born October 1, 1933 in Niagara, WI the son of Loren and Ann Aderman. Connie was a hard worker. He retired after 30 plus years of service as a diesel mechanic for Te-Khi Truck Stop. He married Marilyn Renowden on September 13, 1969 in Battle Creek.
Connie enjoyed gardening and took great pride in the upkeep of his yard. He loved all animals, even if wild, and was known to make sure they were fed or sometimes even had a home. A memorable moment for Connie was when he got the opportunity to drive his tractor across the Mackinac Bridge.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn; son: Dale (Laurie) Aderman; step-children: Steve (Debra) Finkbiner, Muriel Stacey, Mary Finkbiner, Laurie Sherman, and Richard (Angelina) Sherman; grandchildren: Jacob, Taylor, Joe, David, Joshua, Jack, Robert, Bo, Eric, and Trevor; special granddaughter: Casandra (Pritz); several great grandchildren; brother: Gary Aderman; and nephews: Scott and Kevin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter: Cindy; daughter: Cheryl (Tommy) Avery; and brother: Marcel Aderman.
A private family burial will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI. Connie’s family would like to give a special thank you to Oaklawn Hospice for their incredible care.
