Obituary for Jackie Coffman
Jackie Ann Coffman, age 46, of Ceresco, died June 12, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo after a brave battle with cancer. Jackie was born February 2, 1966 in Battle Creek, to Jack and June (Gable) Wygant. Jackie graduated in 1984 from Athens High School and married Scott Coffman in 1987. She had worked at Payless Shoes before becoming the business administrator for Comp-U-Link Computer Service. Jackie loved animals of all kinds, especially horses. She was very active in organization involved in horse rescue and she and her husband, Scott had taken in many ill and mistreated horses, dogs and cats, and given them a loving home. Jackie is survived by her husband, Scott, her father, Jack Wygant of Bellevue, her mother, June Wygant of East Leroy, and a very special niece, Nicole Spelliman and her daughter, Jurnee, that Jackie claimed as her daughter and granddaughter. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy (Tom) Carter of Union City, Sheri (Bud) Babcock of Delton, and Dawn (Lance) Thomas of East Leroy and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the Bedford Bible Church 21964 Bedford Rd. Memorials may be given to the Coffman Memorial, in care of Comerica Bank, 2025 Whites Rd, Kalamazoo, 49008. These funds will be used for the continued care of the animals they have rescued. Arrangements are by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
